(Your photos shouldn't either.)

You've built something that doesn't fit the mold.

Branding + Commercial Photography

Let's talk

I'm your go-to photographer for unique brand portraits and queer events in South Jersey, Philadelphia, NYC, and surrounding areas. I frequently work with organizations and brands that mean something to me and resonate with my values and interests.

That's why I'm not a photographer who will just show up to your event or your brand shoot and treat it like any other job. I bring the same level of creativity, individuality, and vibrancy to every project I work on.

No more settling for photographers who treat your brand or event like everyone else's!

Planning a Pride event, drag show, Ren Faire, or something else queer-affirming and cool?

BTW, I'm Rylan (they/he) and there's a good chance we've already been in the same room. I photograph Haddon Township Pride, the NJ Queer Trans Makers Market, Renaissance Faires, and more, because these are all places I'd be even if I wasn't hired to work there.

I’m also growing experience in concert and performing arts, and have photographed performers such as Henlo Bullfrog, Iris Spectre, Beartrap Burlesque, Monét X Change, and Miz Cracker in a variety of settings from parades to live professional shows. Basically, I get to work with brands, people, and organizations that I love.

Congrats! You've found a joyful, queer-fluent photographer who gets you and what you're building.

Let's Do this!

My editing is vibrant and bold, but still true to life. This way, you get elevated art without feeling like the images are disconnected from your true reality. I've had clients describe their photos as artistic, unique, full of life, and like something you could almost reach out and touch.

I pride myself if being able to work with lighting in all different situations, from drag and music clubs to outdoor venues at any time of day. You can breathe easy knowing that I work in whatever environment your event or brand shoot lands in, and I don't need perfect conditions to make something worth keeping.

You know that thing where people say they hate being photographed? Not here. Whether I'm shooting your team headshots, your drag performers mid-number, or your Renaissance Faire portraiture, I create an environment where people actually enjoy being in front of the camera and the results are full of joy.

My Style is comprised of three important pieces:

I know what it's like to work with professionals who solely accept gay people, versus professionals who are culturally queer, aware of neurodivergence, and use that understanding in how they navigate the world. That's why my client experience is heavily informed by my own queerness and my experience as a trans person. Being able to let your guard down and laugh and connect over shared lived experiences is just a different level, and I wish that for everyone I work with.
